My Dog Tank

This is a replica of our dog Tank. My ds is turning 7 and he wanted a bulldog cakebecause he saw one on Ace of Cakes, only he wanted it to look like our bulldog. I am a little nervous about cutting off his head.

His body is cut from two 9x13, stacked. His head is a sports ball. Then I just eyeballed my dog to get the body shape. I used the cut off pieces of the 9x13 to build the neck wrinkle and roll the fondant extra thick on the face so that you can put in wrinkles with a ball tool. The jowels are one continuous peice of fondant that is fatter on the end and smashed out at the bottom. Thanks for all the nice comments.

Wow!!! You are sooo talented!!!!!! Love it!! (I'd be a little hesitant to cut his cute head off also LOL , but then again if I'm real hungry... LMAO :) ) Awesome cake!!!
