Critique Subgroup Member: What a sweet cake. I like the blue and yellow basketweave. It looks uniform all around. The simple cake board goes well with the decorations on the top of the cake. Your moon, stars, and figures look great also. Is the white icing at the base of the moon/stars supposed to look like clouds or is it just holding the pieces in place? If clouds, I might make the a little bigger or exten them out so it's easier to tell they are clouds.

critique subgroup member - this cake is so precious! I wouldn't change a thing. I think the clouds are perfect - I think if you added any more, they would over take the cake. Your two-toned basketweave is perfect. I love how it looks (and I'm not normally a fan of basketweave!). The figurines are also amazing. Great job!

You have the baby's body shape so exact - it looks like a real baby - and the teddy bear is soooo cute. The ONLY thing I would have done extra would be to lightly sand (with superfine sandpaper) the edges of the moon. Moon face is PERFECT, too. Excellent work.

critique group member: Such an adorable and pretty cake. Love the decorations on the cake and the baby and teddy bear are cute; wish it was a little closer though. I do think that the cake board could be a little smaller or maybe some figures could have been added to the board to make up for all the space. However, the board goes well with the colors of the cake.

Only one small change I would have made, I would make the cresent moon smaller - 1/2 sized it, because it seems to overpower the rest of the composition. But heck if that is all I wouldn't worry about it :wink:
