Ivory And Gold
This is a Maple cream cake with maple crm cheese icing. The flowers are made out of gum paste and then brushed with two colors of gold luster. The cake was delicious. It could have been better looking, but I thought It turned out pretty good. There was alot of work pressing out every flower and then the gold luster took two or three coats before I got a good strong color. Everyone loved the cake. (note to self...make flowers waaayyy in advance...
This is a lovely cake! Not overly done, I'm sure it was just right for the wedding!
