Relief Society Birthday 2008
I had this cake all done when I realized I had not put and support in the bottom tier. I took the top tier off, added supports, replaced top tier and had to camouflage where cake was removed. Can still see some spots put it still came out okay.
Very pretty! I never would've suspected a thing. I love the details...inparticular...the lace work....how were those done?
Lace work was done ahead with royal icing. The cameos are fondant using a candy mold. The flowers/vines/leaves were done with buttercream, directly on the cake.
looks really good to me. i wouldn't have suspected a thang you do good correcting your mistakes. :)
