My First (Unplanned) Cake
I am kinda proud / kinda embarrassed about this one. It is my first fondant attempt and my second cake ever in my life. I had no plan for the decorations, so it IS pretty corny looking - but on the other hand I am proud because it's not falling over, using fondant was easier than I thought it would be - and I have never taken a class!
Great job!!!! Don't be embarrassed, we all start somewhere. It looks darn good! :)
Wow! I have taken a class and still afraid to do something like this! Your cake looks great!
Thank you both for the kind words. My next step is a class. For some reason I am afraid to try buttercream roses and decorations!
