Pink And Brown Paisley

I did this cake for a baby shower. The design was taken from one of the napkins. Both tiers are done in buttercream. The paisley pattern is piped in buttercream and the polka dots are fondant. The bow is done in gumpaste.

I agree with everyone else! This is absolutely FABULOUS!! How did you get such a dark chocolate buttercream? Any special secrets? It's gorgeous! LOVE IT!!!

To answer some of the questions. Tbroskiski-I am left handed so the learning process has been a bit more difficult for me because all of the instructors that I have had are all right handed. Thank you for all of the compliments, I have worked a lot lately on getting my edges crisp. That is just a combination of buttercream recipe and technique. Nise2008-the brown buttercream is just done by adding a good amount of brown and a hint of black but there is no chocolate in the icing.
