Fiesta Bridal Shower
this is now the fav of mine so far. sooooo much fun to do, and i had the time to do everything that i wanted to lol! everything is edible except the umbrella. the margarita glass is a half ball pan covered in mmf and the rim is a gelatin sheet. the advice paper is rice paper. tks for looking!

this is just to cool! Can you explain a little more about how you did the margarita? What is supporting the ball pan? My SIL 21st birthday is coming up and I would love to do something like this for her.
thanks yall for the sweet comments! amytracy i made a gumpaste base as the 'cactus' and stuck a wedding dowel through it.. you know the plastic stacking dowels? then i put a small cardboard round underneath the ball cake and doweled the whole thing through the middle. hope that makes sense. the wedding dowel is hollow so the wooden skewer can slip right in. tks again for looking!
