Got the idea from the Bed of Roses cake and decided to do it with clovers for St. Patrick's Day. I even put in a few 4 leaf clovers for luck. Sprayed the whole thing with pearl luster spray

This is so clever (like the idea of finding the 4 leaf clover!). Looks like alot of work - but definately worth it.
beautiful makes me want to go and pluck the shamrocks for good luck :D
how did you make the shamrocks? did you make a cutter? got to do something similar for a groom's cake this weekend! need help!
I used a small "club" cutter out of a set to mak card shapes and cut the extra off the bottom. then for the 4 leaf i just cut a leaf off of one and added to the other. And it was easier to place them on the cake before they dried out.
