Sharon's Cake
Very, very last minute cake so it is a bit sloppy. Baked, frosted and decorated in one evening. Dark chocolate layered cake with my mocha frosting. Covered in Pettinice fondant, RI points and gumpaste flower spray. Good thing I had left over parts. LOL I am a critique subgroup member. TFL

Tiptop57, you make it very difficult to critique your work. I studied your cake very carefully, trying to find something to say...but, it is simply perfect. I can't find anything sloppy or wrong and I just wish I can get to the point that I pull something off in a hurry that is as beautiful as this!

critique subgroup member: This is very nice work. Does the cake have a quilted texture? I love the little lace points and the flowers are beautiful. The edges of the board look a little uneven here and there and the bottom red ribbon looks a liitle off in a few places, but those are very very picky comments. :oops: It certainly doesn't look like a "very very last minute" cake at all!
Critique subgroup member: I love that deep red. LOVE IT!!! Except for a bit of unevenness ( :? ) around the bottom edge this cake is pretty darn perfect for last minute! I couldn't do this if it took me a week! :D
Crique subgroup member: I think it's lovely. I know your eye sees what you call "sloppiness", but it doens't look that way from here. It's amazing work for last minute and a wonderful design.
