Tea Pot Cake And Sugar Dish Made For Mothers Birthday
This is the teapot cake I made for my Moms birthday. The cake was made using a butter pecan cake and the Wilton sports ball cake pan. I then iced it with Cheesecake flavored BC and covered it using Bakels Pettinice fondant. I really like this fondant it handles really nicely.
Spout, handle, and appliqués are gum paste. The napkin is made of fondant brushed with super pearl dust and was embossed using a lace mold.
The doiley was made the same way using fondant. The fondant rope trim was made with a rope mold.
That is great! Looks so real. I'm jealous. :cry:
