I think you saved it nicely!!! Very cute cake...can I offer some fixes when that happens? When FBCT breaks/cracks do layering...If it were her hair make it 3-D...layer more hair on top..
if it is her face layer the eyes, nose, etc...with the extra icing..always save the extra colors till you are done with the cake...but all in all you did a wonderful job :) I like it alot!!
