Fountain Cake
This is a cake that I did for my brother-in-laws best friends wedding. It's a 16", 14", 10", 6" almond cream cheese pound cake with buttercream icing. You can't see the design on the cake very well, but it's from Mich Turner's Spectacular cakes book. We then configured the cake differently. This was a scary cake to put together, since the 14" cake with the 10" on top wanted to crack. I repaired it though, but me and my husband had to take turns walking to calm down. they loved it though.
what a grand cake!!! No visible flaws that I can see .... you did a wonderful job!
It is awesome - i love the "bride and groom" great job - i agree - no flaws there at all
thank you :)
I love this cake, it's going straight into my fav's! I love the color. Great job! I love the bride and groom on the edge too.
I think it looks great!!! The fountain underneath is a great touch! I do not see any flaws either! I also like your bride and groom!!!
Very classy! I have yet to make a wedding cake but this is very pretty. Love the placement of the bride and groom. Great job!
This is beautiful ! :D
Very eleganit and pretty. Great job !
you did a great job...the design is very pretty on the cake too!! Super save with the repair..you can't tell anything was cracked...what I do is use foamcore board even when using a cake drum, or any other type of plate or divider..the foamcore 1/2" is super strong and nothing will crack and when you ice it and put it on the board or whatever it is strong and not moving. Anyhow, you should be proud..great cake! :)
Very pretty. ;-D
