Winnie The Pooh Birthday Cake

Made this birthday cake for a 1 year old. A gumpaste banner saying "Happy Birthday Zach" was added later. Everything is buttercream except for the Pooh characters, which were my first attempt at gumpaste figures.

This cake is so cute. It's hard to believe that those are your first gumpaste figures. They are excellant. Love it.

Thanks so much! I totally loved working with the gumpaste, even though it took a lot of time (mainly from coloring the paste).

He's adorable - looks like a perfect stuffed animal. Great work (I'll have to go search on that Pooh cake!).
