Beautiful cake Jen!! Where did you buy the triple cutter you used to make the pillows?

vickymacd Says... 7 years ago

Beautiful as always! This one actually looks like I could attempt it, but I won't. Your cakes are so beautiful...what do you do with them, or are they cake dummies?

Copacabanya Says... 7 years ago

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!!

JenniferMI Says... 7 years ago

Thanks ladies! The bubble border is easy. Just start out with a large, round tip, then pipe smaller balls with a smaller round tip, then add silver dragees. There's really not a whole lot to it. HTH! Jen :-)

Vicky - Most of what I post are actual (real) wedding cakes. I have LOTS of them that I've never posted to CC, so I just go grab one in my files :-)

Just beautiful. I like the bubbles too, but I really like the contrast of the different design of each tier. Very striking! Kiddiekakes, you can get the metal diamond thing for the quilting (or pillowing) online and at cake supply stores.

Stunning cake! Is that diamond quilter a stencil? I've always wondered how to get that pattern!!!

JenniferMI Says... 7 years ago

Chocohaulic - no, it's a metal quilter tool. E-mail me, I'm happy to explain how you work it. cakebabe1@aol.com
