Giant Cupcake

Giant Cupcake on Cake Central

WASC with BC and fondant bottom and cherry. I used the Wilton Giant Cupcake pan. I also carved out a tunnel in the middle of the bottom of the cupcake before putting it together so I could add extra BC in the middle for an added treat!

Looks great! I've seen the Cupcake pan before but never a cake that was made from it. Was it hard doing the fondant over the wavy ridges? Great job!

Looks great! I have to make a giant cupcake later this month. I was going to carve it but I'll think I'll try using the Wilton pan.

I did the fondant in two pieces, it wasn't too bad but my fondant was really stiff! Next time I will make sure it's nice and soft.I I love this pan but if you use it take precaution that the top will cook ALOT quicker than the bottom. I baked at 325 but maybe the rack was too high.

This cake is amazing! It looks like a close-up of a real cupcake. Your liner is so realiastic. I'm attempting one of these soon, thanks for the baking tip.
