Golden Stripes on Cake Central

Hi sugar friends! Another of the John Henry floral book cakes I did. Hope you are not getting tired of them.... there are 20 total. They flew florists in to do the fresh floral work. Next to the cymbidium orchids cake, this is my next favorite. Truly remarkable! Quick? what is your secret for placing fondant strips that does not stretch? Do you allow them to dry breifly or do you immediately adhere them?

Candyce - My choc. fondant is really sturdy.... doesn't stretch easily. If I did have that problem, I would make them out of my pearl clay, no way does that stretch. Jen :-)

you can't tire of beauty! I love the colors...they're so fresh! Remind me of spring...which I'm desperate for already! :)
