i made this cake the night before to take to my mother-in-laws house for a family get together that my husband forgot to tell me about . it is a hazelnut chocolate cake, that i had left-over in the freezer,i torted it and added caramel filling, buttercream frosting with pecans, truffles and chocolate ganache stars. not bad for spur of the moment, huh? my mother-in-law said it was one of the best she had ever ate.
