Critique group member: Yup he's drunk! I agree with the red on the hat....love the belt buckle.... :) For the eyes, you don't need white, poke some small holes and paint black. I'll PM a pix to you.

Critique Group Member: he is very cute, i wish i could see him more clearly so I could enjoy him even more :)

critique group member: all I can say is WOW! you ended up incorporating your santa into such a spectacular scene- everything looks wonderful!

on

Critique Group Member: That is soooo cute. Great job. The only critique I have is to make the eyes and buttons more uniform in size. You did a great job getting his head so round. I'm sure mine would turn out egg shaped - LOL.

Critique Group Member: I really like it! Did you use the red BC to attach the holly? I think using white would have been a better choice. And your cake board is a little lacking. It would have been cute to have it tie in with the cake. Your BC is smooth and crisp on the edges and your spacing is spot on. I love Sants and all of your figures too. Great tree. Bravo!

Critique subgroup member: Best one yet!!!!!!!!! Adorable. Except for the red smear of ribbon behind the holly I think it is a great composition. Actually I like plan cake boards. Sometimes things are too busy but you could roll you palm over the edges to give them a cleaner feel. Wonderful.

Critique subgroup member: fantastic creation and placement of all the figures - makes for a terrific holiday centerpiece. Very creative decorations on the sides. I'm having a little trouble seeing the tree but from the photo the tree piping looks a bit droopy. The sleigh work is amazing. You really excel with those figures!

Critique Group Member: I love how balanced this cake is; you are an excellent modeler-the sleigh is magnificant (would love instructions how to do it) and you did a great job smoothing the buttercream and getting your edges crisp. Love the cake-really can't find anything to critique.

critique group member: I had to look at your first try so I could compare. I like this one much better, the coloring of cheeks makes him very cheery looking. The rim of the hat looks a bit too high, but thats me getting picky. I think he turned out very well and his proportions are much better than your original one.

on

critique group member: well, besides looking a little drunk with his dizzy eyes, this one is SO much better!! :) Proportions are good and I like the coloring of this one better. He looks more festive and bright this time! Great job!

Critique group member: Much better...although the first one was cute, too! But I like the brighter colors better. And I like him much better with gloves on! Love the rosey cheeks! The only thing I notice is that the hat has red under the white brim....that looks a little off but everything else is perfect! Very cute!!

on

critique group member: He is cute. He looks a lot more like Santa to me with the rosy cheeks and gloves. I agree with the comments about the red under his hat. It'd look "cleaner" if the white went all the way down to his hair I think. I love this one's fat tummy! He'll look great on a cake!

critique subgroup member: I really like the color of this Santa much better. I like the beard, mustache and hair much better also. I wonder if the addition of bushy eyebrows might help with the big eye look. I also think the belt buckle could be slightly smaller. Nice job and great proportions this time!!
