Ronniefay, Yes the "frosting" is buttercream undereverything and rolled & shaped like a curly S for the swirls on top of the cupcakes. I have a lot to learn about getting a neater look but this along with the cake was so much fun. Take a look @ mary-ann for inspiration. Thanks so much for the kind comments. karen
