My Home Towns Anniversary

This cake is my biggest cake to far!! Bottom tier is vanill and chocolate and consisted of 16 sheet cakes. Second tier is chocolate and is made of 4 sheet cakes. Third tier is foam and the gazeboo is foam covered in fondant . All the leaves are made of fondant and sprayed. There are swirls on the cake but you cant really see those. This cake served over 800 so it in my mind was HUGE! My great friend helped me with this cake and I am very proud of us!

Well done - it looks perfect. Straight lines, beautiful colours and the detail is amazing. Good on you and your "assistant".

Great job. I love all the colors of the leaves. I can't imagine making a cake that large.

We decorated the whole thing on site in front of the towns people. It was a lot easier than I thought. The people asked questions and I didnt get nurves. The leaves and the gazeboo were dont at my home. The gazeboo took about 30 hours from the very start. Thanks for all the great comments!!
