Ghost Cake With Cookies And Smash Cake
This is officially my first disaster cake. While delivering the large 3 tiered cake to a co-worker at work I walked right into a short pole near the front door of my office building designed to keep cars from hitting the glass doors. Anyhow, I slam-dunked this cake. It fell into a million pieces - but stayed in the box. So everyone got to eat wedding cake for breakfast. Luckily I had time the next day to remake it and deliver it in time for the party. Talk about aggrevation!!!!!
oh no... i feel even worse about gulping it down now that i see how pretty it looked before the disaster...adorable!!!
Luckily you had time to remake it. They came out great! Where did you find that board cover?
It's really neat, I'm sorr y to hear about your disaster!
Wow great recovery. That is what being a baker is all about ...happy stress.
Thanks for the comments. The board is a regular cake board covered with silver foil. I then cut a piece of a clear vinyl table cloth with spider webs that I got from Party City. I just tapped it over the cake board and secured it on the bottom.
