I was practicing my roses this past weekend (I just finished Wilton Course I and am taking Wilton Course II) and decided to make a cake for a get-together. pinkflamingo gave me an idea with her yellow roses. I also played around w/ scrolls and dots. Thanks to all of the inspiration on this website. I'm continually inspired and in awe of the amazing talent...I hope I to become half as good. This cake is a 2-layer oval chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream filling. The icing & roses are buttercream.
