Daisy Birthday Cake
I had really tough time with this cake it originally was supposed to have roses on top but I had a icing disaster and had to throw away all my red icing and instead ended up using some RI daisys that I had on hand. The reverse scrolls turned out well but my writing look absolutely horrible because I was completely exhausted at the time...so any encouragement would be great!
It looks great! Your mom is going to love it. The scroll work does look very nice.
Deborah, you did a great job. I could not have done that at 14. Your reverse shells look very good and I like the white daisies. They show up well against the icing. Keep up the good work!!!

It's really not bad at all, you made good out of a bad situation when you had an icing problem and came up with a solution. Your scrolls are nice and that icing looks very rich and yummy!

I love this one as well, great use of color again, even though the roses didn't turn out I think the daisys look perfect! Into the favs :wink:
Critique Group Member: I've also had hard times due to exhaustion. I've learned that it's best to just get a good night's rest and rush in the morning rather than stretching my body beyond its energy limits. I am so impressed by your talents. I've seen many of your other cakes and know what you can do. You have an amazing talent. Way to go "group" buddy.
