I made this for my son's 4th birthday - it's iced in buttercream with fondant accents and I used fondant to cover the board. The headlights are party lights that are used in glasses or balloons for weddings, those were my son's favorite part of the cake!
Thank you! The headlights are little party lights that I bought from a craft store - they stay lit for 8 hours but the cake didn't last that long ;-)
This cake is way too cool! I too love the headlights and your highway is terrific!
