Girly/gothic Doll Cake on Cake Central

I made this doll cake for my sister who loves black and is a MAC make-up a-holic. I also made a small round cake that looked like a pan of MAC eyeshadow to go along with it.

SO great. I have to say that I never like doll cakes but this one is really good - love the girly/goth combo. I am also a MAC addict so I'm going to have to look up your MAC cake too!

Charb31 - MAC is huge here in california. It stands for Make-up Art Cosmetics and they have awesome products. They have a website too where you can see the products.

cakeladee - absolutely! I am flattered that you would want to use the idea. There is not much to it. The only thing I can add is that I used a bratz "headz" for the doll head and attached that to the wilton doll pick. I found the little shopping bags in the scrapbook aisle at my local Michael's craft store and painted the black o...

cunga - I got the color using chocolate frosting with some americolor super black. Starting with chocolate is the easiest way to get a good black color.
