Thanks, for the handle i iced a small piece of chart paper and inserted the ends into the cake.

That is absolutely Gorgeous! I didn't know you could make roses out of boiled icing. Did you use the fluffy boiled icing recipe? Also, how did make the basket shape out of the cake?

Thanks for your comment. It is fluffy boiled icing, just add enough icing sugar to make it stiff enough to make the roses. let the roses dry overnight. For the shape of the basket i used a round pan and cut the cake into half, then layered it with buttercream filling, also used bamboo skewers to secure it, (can use toothpicks too), then i cut the round edge a little to give a base for the basket.
