Another Present Cake

Two stacked cakes..6 and 10 inch. Bows made of gum paste. I thought the colors of this cake were just so pretty

It's a beautiful cake. Did you use fondant to cover the cake. I love the colours too. I have never tried to make one of those bows because they look so difficult. How hard are they to make?

Yes, the cakes are covered in fondant. I use the old broomstick method of making bows and they come out perfect everytime! (it is an article here somewhere!)

I beleive it is somewhere. Basically, you put shape the loops and then feed them onto a broomstick (I bought a new one just for this purpose) and let them dry that way.
