Birthday Mums
Boy did I mess up on this one! Somehow, the icing was too perhaps, the icing was filled with crumbs, so I had to make up for it by wrapping ribbon around the sides and sprinkling coconut on top. It was an unexpected cake for the birthday girl, so she was happy to have it and everyone seemed impressed anyhow. I hate how the flowers in the middle are off center. . . .
I didn't notice they were off center until you mentioned it. Sometimes I do that intentionally so I don't have to have it centered exactly. I think your cake came out fantastic and the flowers are gorgeous.
