I've been wanting to do this cake for awhile! I made it for my church's annual picnic and it was a hit! I used part of the batter to make a small cake and then I cut the square piece for the basket. I covered the basket first with a crumb coat and then with the basket tip. The watermelon is cake scraps formed into oval and iced, then I cut a wedge out and iced the inside to look like a watermelon. Ants are choc. icing. All almond bc icing on half choc./ half yellow cake.
