This took 2 1/2 cake mixes. I made another one of these with 6 half balls. The feed are Brach's jelly slices or fruit slices. You have to find a store that sells mix 'n match candies and buy them individually wrapped. This cake was a freebie for a friends daughter. The original Wilton cake has cookies with the child's name and age.
Oops, that was supposed to say "feet". I would probably not do this cake for less than $80 since it feeds so many people. I will post a picture in my photos of the other cake I made like this for you to see the cookies.
This is too cute. I'm doing an Einstein caterpillar for my kids' first B-day. What size board did you put the finished product on? Crystal
I love your caterpillar! Have to try it for my grandchildren.. :)
My dad cut me some custom cake boards from 3/4 inch plywood. I use them lots. This one is 36 inches long and 16 inches wide.
Oh how cute. What a great job!!!
Darling, darling, darling!! I'll bet all the kids wanted their own "part" of the caterpillar! Very cute. I'm going to save this one! :D
Very Cute! What did you use for the feet? I'm looking for ideas for my little girls 1st bday, so far this is one my favorites!
