I am in the proccess of making some sample cakes for an autumn fair this weekend and this is one that I have made. Would you change anything or add more to the sides of it?

It looks wonderful! Although, since you said something about the sides...they do look a little bare...but I'm not sure what you would add to it? It looks great the way it is now though! Good luck! :)
It looks great the way it is! If you start adding stuf it may look a little cluttered.
I think simple is always better than too "overdone." I love this cake. How did you do the flowers and leaves?? They're beautiful and PERFECT for a fall cake!
the flowers and leaves are all gumpaste. I used my airbrush to color the leaves.
