Polo In The Park!

Polo In The Park! on Cake Central

This is a cake I made for a charity luncheon at Golden Gate Park for their annual Polo in the Park fund raiser. The cake itself was white cake with Raspberry Cream filling & Mexican-Chocolate buttercream under the fondant. Not sure if you can see the silver dragees on the quilting on the second tier & also in the white "grass" under the trees. Trees & some of the blue fondant were painted gold. PS: there is a bee on the side of the cake! Photo courtesy of Robert Foster for Horses in California Inc

Very nice cake. The bee gives it a nice touch , Must be attracted to the flowers on the top of cake! LOL :D Love your trees too.

Actually the cake smelled really sweet so I think the bees wanted the cake! I had attached the dragees with clear piping gel, and the bees would hold on to the drage and suck out a bit of gel.
