The cake is a beauty. I would have used a "crystal" or "clear" plate and pillar system, though, but maybe this is what the Bride wanted. I sometimes have to remind people that we decorate to please the person for whom the cake is made, and they may have tastes that differ from ours. I do like your decorating; it's neat and effective. Nice job here. :)
aobodessa....DITO....I tried to explain the white might not look as good to the bride....but that is what she wanted....so went with it. Not my choice either, but they loved it.

What a beauty :) Even with the white showing your cake present themselves equally as beautiful :), do you add cocoa to your original recipe of bc for your chocolate?
Yes....I use cocoa in my BC recipe. On smoothing it, I use the Viva paper towel method.
