So the crowns are MMF?
Yes. I like working with mmf and living in Colorado, it's not as humid, so it does dry. I made a few in gumpaste as well and they were more brittle when dried..but it may have been due to my inexperience with it.
Very cute idea !!!
Good Idea!! How did you make the crowns?
Really cute. Love the colors. I'd like to know how you did the crowns too.
They still turned out darling. Neat idea.
I love them!!! I'd love to know how you made the crowns too.
Very cute. I am sure the kids loved them.
Thanks. Basically used technique for making larger crown from forum (search on crown). Started using gumpaste, but not my best medium yet, so switched to MMF. Really used the directions for getting shape by attaching to, in my case, several sippy cups and glasses. After dry, decorated with things I could find at store that day..cut up gummy worms to make gems, little hearts and icing:)
Thanks for the information. I'm sure it will come in handy.
Here's the link to directions: (...) oops, it didn't show up. The link is in a thread called "Help Fondant Tiara"
