I love the overall elegance of this cake because everything is so well done. And I also like that you found a use for your Wilton II pans. I'm taking the class right now and was wondering if they would ever be useful in the future. It makes sense to give small cakes as a gift.
bunnys26: I used the 7-3/4" oval pan that comes in the Wilton Course II kit. It was 2 layers so it's about 4-1/2" tall.
