Pink With Ribbon And Loop Bow

This cake is iced smooth with buttercream. MMF ribbon and loop bow. The icing is not as smooth as I like it to be. I have just started mixing my buttercream a little longer so it is lighter and fluffier, just a little too soft for me to work with. I wish my boss's wife wanted scrolls or something else on the cake. I think it would have looked better. Oh well.

Nicolasa - I allow the icing to crust over then I smooth my icing with parchment paper and my warm hand.
