Very cute! I find that my figures shrink when working with MMF. Wish I could tell you why. How did you do the lettering?

Your cake is "cute as a button". Everything is so very neat and well done. I think your baby is really adorable!!!

Well everyone, I am not sure what happened. When I originally posted this picture, it was called "cute as a button". I swapped pictures and now all the info and name is gone. I can't figure out how to edit it back in. If someone knows, please send me a pm and I will try to fix it. Till then I'll keep trying. Thanks :D

absolutely beautiful! in the case of the shrinking baby, just add a little tylose power to the fondant. if you don't have any, don't worry about it.....in any case. you must let each component dry completely before you assemble the body. when you make the torso stick a toothpick down the centre and after it's dry you can put the head onto the exposed top of the pick. hth!

Thanks for all the wonderful comments and suggestions. I will have to try your suggestions. I used FMM brand cutters for the letters. First time using them and love them. It was a fun cake to make, I learned a lot. :D
