Thank you, Thanh Thanh, for the inspiration for this cake. Although mine cant touch hers. I strayed from my normal path and made Rose Beranbaums Classic Buttercream in White Chocolate for this one. That was mistake. It is not as stable as IMBC. Good thing this was a sheet cake or the icing would have slid right off. Anyway, lessons learned. 9 x 13, ½ chocolate ½ vanilla cake, Royal flowers and BC dots and scrolls.
Oh my gosh!!! I was just looking for a good white chocolate icing for a sheet cake like this and pretty much given up. So I'm going through some new pics on CC and come across your really beautiful cake. By the way, Thanh Thanh rocks!!! I can't believe you did this one in white chocolate buttercream when I was just giving up on finding one. I know you said it wasn't as stable as IMBC, but will you share the recipe if you like it enough to recommend it? Thanks and great jobQ!
