Dress For Girl

Dress For Girl on Cake Central

A 9 x 13" rectangular cake. The dress was a copy of the invitation. It was done in gumpaste and all the little flowers using a silicone mold with miniature flowers. Hope you will like it.

WOW! The detail on the headband is beautiful and teh crispness and "simplity" styling of the dress make it something truely special - it looks like a reall little girl's white cotton dress!

This is lovely! I love the detail you have given it all - right down to the pleats under the 'waistband'.

I keep looking at it and my eyes just won't let me believe it's cake! Gorgeous!! All of your work is just so incredible. :)

This is breathtaking!! What a wonderful job!! Mind I asking how much you would charge for something like this?

Thank you girls!!! is always nice to read so many kind words. To the ones that asked about the pleats, they were done by rolling out the gum paste very, thinly and then you just make the pleats with your fingers as if you were pleating a fabric. The trick comes once you've your pleats, you press down on the edge with a rolling pin to flatten the pleats. Then just cut the "uneven" section and that's it. Hope I was of help.
