This cake was done for the county fair competition and is completely edible, the turrets are stacked cake round, cut out with a small glass. I want to thank KaraBear1125, her cake was my inspiration and she kindly answered my questions. Update 9/9....I just got word, my cake got a 2nd place ribbon in the cake decorating competition!!! WOW! :)
