Family Tree Reunion Cake
Thank you to TexasBecky for all her help in this. This was a 2 layer spice cake with cheesecake mousse filing and My Buttercream from here and fondant (Satin Ice) tree and leaves. Tasted wonderful! Made this cake for our family reunion, my 1st time ever working with fondant, not very happy with it but I learned a lot and am ready to try it again. Would love your input.

Great idea! I can just see everyone gathered around looking for there names,smiling!
That's exactly what they did, everyone wanted to take their name leaf home with them, especially those who had lost a loved one, their names were the leaves fallen from the tree

How CUTE! I love your idea. Cheesecake mousse filling? OH YUMMY! Your gonna have to share that recipe, gosh now I'm hungry! I love the names on the leaves, that's what makes it even more special. Great Job!
