Eighteenth Birthday

Customer wanted it shaped like an 18 it was huge. 2 12inch rounds for the 8. I baked it with a 6 inch in the middle then pulle it out. Worked great. Also hard to see in the picture but the mmf stars have edible sparkles on them.

Okay this didn't look so big until I noticed the hands, then it jumped out at me. lol Wow, it is big! It's soo pretty, and I'll bet the inside border on the holes was fun to do. Baking the 12" w 6" inside for the hole was good thinkin. Smart lady! It looks great! I'll have to save this one for inspiration.

I saw your forum thread about this cake..........looks so awesome, glad to see you had luck with the 6" pan inside of the twelve......in theory I figured it would work lol...nice to see it actually does.....That's gotta be one of the neatest (as in cleanly done) number cakes I've ever seen.....you'd never know you didn't have cake pans that made those numbers for you!!! Super nice and REALLY professionally done great work!
