Poseidon's Palace Cake Central Gallery

my entry for the 2012 Gingerbread City. The theme this year was "Myths and Legends". This was 800 hours of work. It had over 60 pounds of molded chocolates, and I made all the molds. It weighted almost 200 pounds. I took 2nd place but won the People's Choice. It took 8 batches of gingerbread to make the palace. The fish were made of gumpaste and the reef was chocolate, gumpaste, fondant, chineese noodles, and pasta.
