I made this cake for a baby shower with a ladybug and butterfly theme. Two tiers, each covered in fondant. The whimsical flowers are covering a styrofoam 'dummy' support. All the figures are hand sculpted from fondant. I was nervous about delivering this cake since the 'final product' was different from my sketch, but the girl cried happy tears... so that made me happy!! Added note... WOWSERS!! Thanks everyone. My cake placed 3rd on CC contest. There were so many adorable cakes that I am honored!!
