How did you create the pattern on the top of the cake itself? Not the picture, but the white areas between the picture's "frame" and the edge of the cake?

would you happen to have the images still for this cake? I love it so much I would like to do it for my baby shower

Thanks for all the compliments! The top border is 3 in 1. It's a flat tip, then a ruffle and then a stretched shell. The pattern is created by smoothing the top of the cake with a patterned paper towel. I printed the edible images with a Canon i350 and Kopykake supplies.

I have to tell you Lisa, my eyes about fell out of my head when your cake popped up!!! It is AWESOME!! I love the whole thing, however the top border is what caught my eye!! Absolutely awesome cake!!
