Savannah's Birthday Cake
My granddaughter wanted an Ariel cake for her birthday. Her mom looked on the internet and e-mailed me a picture of this cake from www.birthdaydirect.com. I added a few seaweed and piped fish on the back of the cake. It is a vanilla cake with buttercreame frosting. I used the Ariel figure from her pirthday party last year. The sea shells are Wilton chocolate melts.
what a cool idea!! 8O  I bet your granddaughter loved it!!
This is great, I might make it for my daughter's birthday. Thanks for posting it!

What a great cake! That's a great idea to use half a cake as the background. I'm going to have to use this idea
Stunning cake! Did you use spray colors or airbrush to get the blues & greens to blend on the half cake?
Great job bet she went nuts over it
The sand is crushed up vanilla wafers.
