Final Cake: Wilton Course 1
My first attempt at a rose. I got better as the night went on but I still dont like the first step after the base: The Scarf. I am just having trouble getting it to where I like it.

It looks really good. Your roses are very pretty! Perhaps you could bring up your first row of 3 petals higher. That's what I do. It hides the inside part more. I think if you tried it again today you'd have them nailed though. They're just about perfect. :)
