Dogwood Cake
White cake with raspberry filling. Iced in buttercream with gumpaste dogwood flowers. This was supposed to be a cross shaped cake, but when I accidentally knocked the cross off the counter just as I had finished the final crumb coat the night before it was due, the new cake became just a sheet cake. Thank goodness it was a donation to my church so no one actually knew what it should have been.
I love the dogwood flowers.

Very pretty cake. The flowers all very well done . I love dogwoods and will do a cake with them sometime so am going to put this in favs.
