Aer Lingus Plane
This cake, ordered by my MIL for her boss who is moving from Ireland to Berlin (check the little map details on the cake board). It is on a 20" board and the plane is 22" long! All details are edible, except for the tail fin, which is a piece of card covered with gumpaste. The cake is chocolate and filled with IMBC. This is the first cake I didn't really enjoy doing - probably because so many things kept going wrong! But I got there in the end!
