This was done for a Wedding in December I got a lot of input from my friends online in regard to the colour and how to make the bow. Thank you so much guys. The bride loved it.

What a beautiful cake! There are so many things I like, not sure where to start hehe=) I see you got the gold color you were looking for, and it ended up so pretty! The bows are perfect, but overall, I just love the cakes and the set up! WTG!!

These just turned out lovely! Congratulations! We'd be interested to know what path you ended up taking to get the lovely gold.

(...) This is the link for the fondant bow. At first I tried it with paper for the exact size i wanted. With the gumpaste once dried I assembled with royal icing and gave it enough time to dry. The pieces were coloured before assembly with pearl luster dust. With respect to the gold 1st I covered with yellow food colouring then Astec gold then gold luster dust it was real fun again thank you all

excellent job on the bows, i like how there is ribbons flowing out. the stands are really different and great to display the cakes on, where did you find them?
